Chat with your Characters

After creating your characters, you can Chat with them directly in the Studio. Additionally, you can interact with them in a VR environment via our Companion App for a more realistic and immersive experience.

Chatting in Studio​

To chat with your characters in the studio, click the Chat button as depicted below:

This will open up a pop-up window where you may type messages to send to your character. Alternatively, press Speak to have a live voice chat with them. The window is shown below.

⚠️ Note: While using live voice chat, please use headphones for high-quality audio. This will prevent an echo of what your character is replying.

Explore the menu buttons to expose addition options for moving to a scene, triggering goals and scene changes, and to restarting or exporting the current conversation.

Companion App​

For access to our Companion App, please email support@inworld.ai. Be sure to include the email address that is associated with your Meta Quest account. We will give you access to the application, where you can interact with your own characters and those shared with you by others!
