Vibe coding with Inworld docs

Give your AI coding assistant live access to Inworld documentation via llms.txt or MCP.

llms.txt — paste and go

Give your AI assistant an index of public documentation:

text
https://docs.inworld.ai/llms.txt

Paste that URL into your system prompt, project instructions, or chat so the model can find the listed guides and API references.

For the full text of public pages in one file, use https://docs.inworld.ai/llms-full.txt. Private, hidden, and feature-gated content is excluded from both indexes. For a single page, append .md to its URL — https://docs.inworld.ai/tts/synthesize-speech.md returns that page as Markdown.

Docs MCP server

Connect your assistant to the hosted docs MCP server so it can search the documentation and read pages while it works. It's public: no sign-in, API key or install is needed.

text
https://docs.inworld.ai/mcp
bash
claude mcp add --transport http inworld-docs https://docs.inworld.ai/mcp

The server has two tools:

  • search_inworld_ai_documentation takes a query and returns matching pages, each with a snippet, its link and its Markdown link.
  • read_inworld_ai_documentation_page takes a page path (tts/synthesize-speech), a docs URL, or llms.txt, and returns that page as Markdown.

It returns public pages only, the same ones listed in llms.txt. Assistants already set up with this URL use it without any changes.

Inworld CLI — let your agent use Inworld directly

Install the Inworld CLI and your coding agent can call Inworld from the shell — no MCP configuration needed:

bash
npm install -g @inworld/cli
inworld login

From there, an agent can create API keys (inworld workspace add-key), synthesize speech (inworld tts synthesize), generate audiobooks (inworld audiobook generate), transcribe audio (inworld stt transcribe), and send chat completions (inworld llm chat). See the Inworld CLI reference for all commands.

MCP server — real Inworld tools

The CLI ships the Inworld MCP server. An assistant that supports MCP can use its tools for speech synthesis and TTS previews, voice cloning, design and publishing, STT transcription, LLM chat (with or without spoken audio), workspace search and limits, billing summary, router management, and documentation search:

bash
claude mcp add inworld -- inworld mcp

Claude Code MCP docs

The server registers tools for the credentials it finds when it starts. For the API tools, set INWORLD_API_KEY, or run inworld login and then inworld workspace select, which also stores the workspace's API key. The workspace, billing, voice and router management tools need an inworld login sign-in. See the credentials table.

The CLI's MCP server calls Inworld APIs. To search and read the documentation, use the docs MCP server above; you can connect both.

Copy a page from the docs

Every documentation page has a menu at the top with Copy page, View as Markdown, and Open in ChatGPT / Claude. Use it when you need just one page's content.
